COVID 19

All club members, visiting archers and beginners must observe the following measures when visiting Celyn Archers to shoot indoors.

Under Welsh Law it is legally mandatory to maintain a 2 metre distance from others in a public space.

This distance will apply when the club meets for archery in the sports hall at Cardiff High School.

Members will have to wear a face mask at all times which covers the nose and mouth. This will have to be worn when shooting the bow.

When you are on the shooting line you will be 2 metres apart.

When you collect your arrows you only pull your own arrows from the target.

A 2 metres distance must be maintained at the target.

When entering or leaving the sports hall the 2 metre distance must be maintained.

You will be responsible for bringing your own mask, hand sanitiser, soap and towel for washing your hands and if helping to put out equipment your own protective gloves.

It is important that if you have any flu like symptoms or other covid 19 virus symptoms that you do not attend the club to protect the other members. It unlikely that there will be a covid 19 vaccine available to us general members of the public until about July 2021 and that means that these measures will be in place for at least a year.
